Zacuto Zicro Micro
The Zacuto Zicro Micro is a remarkably compact and versatile mounting solution designed for filmmakers and videographers to attach lightweight accessories to their camera rigs. It’s essentially a small, robust clamp that bridges the gap between accessories with a standard 1/4″-20 (or 3/8″-16 via adapter) threaded mounting hole and a 15mm support rod.
Its “micro” size and efficient design make it ideal for use in tight spaces on complex camera setups where traditional clamps might be too bulky. It allows for quick attachment, removal, and repositioning of accessories like monitors, wireless receivers, small lights, or microphones.
The Zacuto Zicro Micro features a single 15mm rod clamp on one side and a small platform with a captive 1/4″-20 tie-down screw on the other. This captive screw has a small amount of horizontal adjustment, allowing you to fine-tune the position of your accessory for a snug fit. For devices with a 3/8″-16 threaded hole, an optional adapter can be used.
