Compatible with a wide range of cameras including DSLRs, mirrorless, and cinema systems from Canon, Sony, RED, Blackmagic, ARRI, Panasonic, and more, the VCT Pro offers industry-standard VCT-14 tripod compatibility, integrated 15mm rod support, and a low-profile shoulder-mounted design.

Built with precision and comfort in mind, it features a built-in gel-filled shoulder pad, ARRI M6 rosettes, and sliding top plate for perfect camera balance. Whether you’re shooting handheld, tripod-mounted, or transitioning between the two, the VCT Pro delivers seamless functionality with rock-solid performance.

Designed to work across camera ecosystems, the VCT Pro Baseplate supports:

Its quick-release top plate (Arca-Swiss compatible) and sliding design allow you to quickly swap cameras, rebalance lenses, and adapt to different setups with ease.

Built-In Shoulder Pad for All-Day Comfort

The VCT Pro Baseplate features a contoured gel shoulder pad, positioned for optimal balance and weight distribution. Unlike traditional rigs, the camera sits just ¾” above your shoulder, keeping the center of gravity low to reduce fatigue and improve stability—essential when working with tall camera builds or top-heavy rigs.

ARRI M6 Rosette Mounts for Handgrip Integration

Integrated ARRI-standard M6 rosettes on both sides of the baseplate provide mounting options for:

• Zacuto trigger grips and handgrips

• Follow focus systems or extension arms

• Accessory mounts or shoulder extensions

Precision Rod Support System

• Includes 6.5” extendable 15mm rods (front)

• Rear rod ports for battery plates, lens motors, counterweights, and accessories

• Adjustable rod riser with 25mm of vertical travel for lens height alignment

Whether you’re using a follow focus, matte box, or lens motor system, the VCT Pro adapts to your lens height and setup needs.

Tripod Ready – VCT-14 Standard or Direct Mount

The bottom of the baseplate includes:

• V-wedge mount compatible with Sony VCT-14 tripod adapter plates

• ¼”-20 and ⅜”-16 threads for mounting to any tripod quick-release plate

Switch seamlessly between shoulder, tripod, dolly, or gimbal workflows using the VCT Pro Top Plate and VCT Pro Tripod Dock (sold separately).
