The Zacuto Sony FX9 Recoil Pro is a fully balanced, professional shoulder rig specifically designed for the Sony PXW-FX9 cinema camera. Featuring Zacuto’s Next Generation Recoil Rig philosophy, this rig places the balance point of the camera over the operator’s shoulder—resulting in significantly better comfort, stability, and control during extended handheld use.

The FX9 Recoil Pro is modular, tool-less, and production-ready, enabling operators to shoot more efficiently in any environment—documentary, narrative, ENG, or commercial work.

What’s Included in the FX9 Recoil Pro Kit

• VCT Pro Baseplate – industry-standard baseplate with built-in gel shoulder pad, 15mm LWS rod ports (front & back), and VCT-14 tripod compatibility.
• Sony FX9 Top Plate – custom-fit plate for the FX9 with multiple 1/4″-20 & 3/8″-16 mounting points and Z-Rails (NATO) for accessory attachment.
• Axis Micro EVF Mount – compact, fully adjustable EVF arm for mounting the FX9’s viewfinder or a Gratical/Kameleon EVF.
• Sony FX9 Trigger Grip – relocates the Sony FX9 side grip to a rosette-mounted, adjustable position with full 360° trigger rotation.
