The Zacuto RED KOMODO Cage Base Plate is a precision-engineered foundation for your RED KOMODO camera, offering rock-solid support and seamless integration with Zacuto’s modular cage system. This SKU includes the bottom/base plate only, designed to be used independently or combined with Zacuto side plates and top plate (sold separately) for a complete cage setup.

Crafted from ultra-lightweight aircraft-grade aluminum, the base plate features an integrated Arca-Swiss style locking wedge—ideal for fast transitions between handheld rigs, tripods, and Zacuto’s ACT Baseplate system. It also includes a built-in adjustable 1/4″-20 lens adapter support screw, designed to stabilize lens adapters like the Metabones Speedbooster, minimizing strain on your camera mount.
