Features
LensReader™ by Transvideo
The LensReader™ displays in real time the key metadata of /i and LDS lenses: focus with depth of field and hyperfocal point, iris, zoom (if any).
The LensReader™ supports the following lenses
Angénieux Optimo DP 25-250
Arri™/Fujinon™ Alura lightweight zooms
Arri™/Zeiss™ MasterPrime, UltraPrime & Master Anamorphic
Cooke™ 5/i, S4/i and mini S4/i
Fujinon™ Cabrio series
Zeiss XD family
When a Cine Tape is connected to the monitor, measured distance is displayed on the focus ring.
VirtualHorizon Lineup
The AvengerLeveler™ (the original VirtualHorizon™) is a color coded electronic leveler with several renditions, adjustable sensitivity and direction.
This unprecedented precision tool for the Steadicam world allowed shots with amazing stability since the early 2000s. The leveler is driven by a built-in sensor or an external sensor (such as the Betz external bubble level).
The VirtualHorizon2™ is gyrostabilized, featuring compensation of acceleration and shocks for further more stability.
The optional VirtualHorizon3™ features the same stability of VirtualHorizon2™, plus the freedom of wireless. It transmits via Bluetooth to the monitor – visualization on-screen.
HIGH PRECISION MEASUREMENTS
Multiple waveforms
3 sizes: small / medium / full screen.
Shows a line representation of the picture, in line mode (Y, R, G or B component) or parade mode (RGB, GBR, YRGB, YPrPb).
Scopes the whole frame, 12 lines or 1 specific line.
A frame representation of Y component is also available.
Histogram
Shows a statistical representation of luminance as a bargraph, with adjustable scale.
Vectorscope
Shows a representation of the color vectors.
Adjustable false colors
Black and overexposure limits, and also other intermediate safety levels can be used to adjust the camera and lens.
The user may adjust the clipping as well as maximum and minimum levels. The limits are displayed in false color on the image and/or in the measurement tools.
Exposure control
The monitor also features a specific mode to enhance the high-lights and low-lights details.
Focus helper & zoom
Based on a high performance multi dimensional digital filter, the Focus helper offers 10 levels and 9 colors, helping to get a sharp focus in difficult situations.
The zoom mode displays the picture in its native resolution (pixel to pixel) and helps to have a sharp focus.
Markers and user framelines
Markers include 1.33:1 (4:3), 1.56:1 (14/9) and 1.78:1 (16/9) aspect ratios as well as a safe area (TV safe).
1 user-adjustable cross and 3 user-adjustable framelines (9 colors, solid line, dots, dashes, corners), with or without crosshair, with or without matting (4 solid colors + 4 shades of see-through greys).
Audio
Displays the SDI embedded audio presence for all channels. Vu-meter and peak-meter display one audio pair on the 8 possible.
Timecode
Displays the SDI embedded LTC, VITC1 or VITC2 timecode.
Tally
Up to 3 Tally may be displayed simultaneously: 2 through external command and 1 through the camera REC/STOP command embedded in the SDI.
Displays a colored LED and/or an on-screen Tally (frameline, “REC” style, or a big “ON AIR” in place of the measurements).

with CineMonitorUHD Evolution
Creatively connected
with /i and LDS lenses
The LensReader by Transvideo is a unique tool that displays as virtual scales lens metadata: focus with depth of field and hyperfocal point, iris, zoom (if any). It gives to the DP or to the focus puller an amazing graphical view of the settings of the lens in real time.
Two graphics are available: Mobile where the focus/iris/zoom scales are moving as on a real lens; Static where the markers are moving on the scales.

/i Technology
/i Technology is a metadata system that enables cameras and other devices to automatically record key lens data for every frame shot. This revolutionary technology has been introduced by Cooke™ in 2005. It is open source technology that many influent companies of the Cinematography industry have incorporated in their products.
ARRI™ Lens Data System
The Lens Data System (LDS) by ARRI™ is a metadata system that enables cameras and other devices to automatically record key lens data for every frame shot. The advantages of the LDS were first introduced with the ARRICAM System and then expanded to other cameras, such as the Alexa.
About the Angénieux Optimo DP 25-250
The Angénieux™ Optimo DP 25-250 includes the /i protocole. The data transfer is done through the PL-mount contacts or through a special RS232 cable from the lens to the monitor.
About Fujinon™ Cabrio Serie
The Fujinon™ Cabrio Serie can be configured as a /i or a LDS lens. The data transfer is done only through the PL-mount contacts. Please read the user manual to choose the appropriate setting depending of the camera you are using.
Cine Tape Measure
This versatile ultrasonic system from Cinematography Electronics continuously calculates the distance between a subject and the camera’s film-plane.
When connected to the CineMonitorUHD Evolution, measured distance is displayed on the focus ring. The Cine Tape Measure is connected to the monitor via a special RS232 cable provided by Transvideo (P/N 906TS0165).
