Professional Performance with Pro Mode Control

The Hydra Arm Mini’s Pro Mode unlocks advanced control, letting you operate both the arm and the gimbal (e.g., RS2/RS3 Pro) simultaneously from a single controller. Adjust tilt, pan, speed, dampening, and motion limits independently for each axis — all via a reliable wired controller with customizable presets for different shooting conditions.

Unlike traditional vehicle-mounted cranes, the Hydra Arm Mini features a counterweight-free design, improving safety and reducing setup complexity. The carbon fiber mounting brackets offer a high-strength yet lightweight solution, ideal for fast-paced shoots and on-location rigging.

With a modular design that breaks down into smaller, airline-compatible storage cases, the Hydra Arm Mini Pro Kit is designed to travel easily from set to set. The system is easy to assemble and disassemble, enabling faster setup on location — whether you’re shooting on city streets or remote mountain roads.

Vehicle Mounting Options with Suction Cups & Speed Rails

The included suction cups, speed rail brackets, and ratchet straps provide multiple vehicle mounting configurations, supporting a wide variety of car types. Optional kits are available for panoramic sunroofs and other special mounting requirements. For users with existing rigs, a Basic Kit (coming soon) will offer the crane without mounting hardware.

Stabilized Motion with Shock Absorbing Systems

Equipped with an adjustable Shock Absorbing Arm and Head, the Hydra Mini reduces vibrations and maintains gimbal stability on uneven terrain. Both horizontal and vertical movements are supported, ensuring smoother tracking even at varying road speeds.

The arm includes a V-Mount battery plate at the end to power your gimbal via P-Tap to 2-Pin cable (included). Power your camera via onboard battery or through the same V-Mount battery, as the arm does not provide internal power or video passthrough.

For reliable power delivery, Tilta recommends the EcoFlow Delta power station and a 3000W+ 110V to 220V converter.
