Tiltaing Canon 5D/7D Series Kit C

This Tilta gray Full Camera Cage from Tilta is a formfitting aluminum cage that protects your Canon 5D, 5D Mark II, 5D Mark III, 5D Mark IV, 7D, or 7D Mark II camera during production without impeding access to your camera’s functions, displays, ports, or battery. The camera is secured in the cage using a 1/4″-20 mounting screw.

Three integrated shoe mounts provide convenient attachment points for articulating arms, lights, external monitors, and other accessories. Your camera mounts onto the cage using the included quick release mounting plate, which allows you to quickly mount and unmount the camera. The cage also incorporates multiple 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads around the sides for attaching accessories. Multiple 1/4″-20 threads on the bottom of the cage allow you to attach a variety of baseplates, such as Tilta’s Manfrotto-type or Arca-type plates.

Carry and stabilize your Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 4K with this lightweight Tilta gray Quick Release Top Handle from Tilta. The quick release handle’s features include two shoe mounts, a 15mm rod port, multiple 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads, and a 3/8″-16 thread with locating pins.

The aluminum and stainless steel handle attaches to your camera cage using the included spring-loaded thumbscrew. The 15mm rod port features a rod locking screw to add a rod to the handle. There is one 3/8″-16 thread with locating pins on the front of the handle to mount a separately available Tilta cage rod mount.

Tilta’s 8″ Threaded 15mm Rod is a 8″ rod with female threading on both ends. This allows you to use optional threaded rod adapters to extend the length. As a standard practice, Tilta chamfers one end of their rods and leaves the other end with a straight cut. The chamfering makes it easier to slide accessories onto the rod, while the end with the straight cut makes for a smoother rod join.

The rod is made from machined aluminum for a balance between weight and strength, and then anodized black for wear and corrosion resistance. Please note that there is no industry-wide standard for support rod threading, so when sourcing optional rod extenders, it is best to stay within one brand.

Mount a 15mm rod onto the bottom of your Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K cage or half cage with this lightweight 15mm Bottom Single Rod Holder from Tilta. The aluminum and stainless steel rod holder attaches to the cage bottom with the included mounting screw, and a hex screw is used to tighten the holder around the rod.

This Tiltaing 15mm LWS Baseplate Type II from Tilta features a flat gray finish and two mounting surfaces. The top of the baseplate allows for mounting of Tiltaing half and full camera cages for Sharp 8K, Panasonic GH5, Fuji XT3, Nikon Z7, and Sony a6/a7/a9 cameras. The bottom of the baseplate mounts on Tilta standard dovetails. The bottom also incorporates three 1/4″-20 threaded holes for mounting the baseplate directly on a tripod. Built into the baseplate is a pair LWS 15mm rod clamps with spring-loaded locking levers.

Pair the versatile Tiltaing Side Focus Handle Type III from Tilta with a Nucleus Nano motor for fingertip focus control and with a separately available Nucleus Nano R/S cable for a record start/stop button with compatible cameras. Powered by a separately available Sony NP-F570 L-series type battery, this Tilta gray handle slides onto the base of a half or full Tiltaing camera cage.
