Protective, Functional Camera Cage

The formfitting aluminum cage is precision-designed to protect your Canon DSLR while retaining full access to ports, battery, and display. The cage uses a 1/4″-20 mounting screw for a secure camera lock, and includes multiple 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads for mounting monitors, arms, and accessories.

With three integrated cold shoe mounts, you can quickly attach microphones, wireless transmitters, or LED lights. The bottom of the cage features multiple tripod threads and supports Arca- and Manfrotto-compatible quick release plates, allowing fast switching between handheld, gimbal, and tripod setups.

Ergonomic Quick Release Top Handle

The Tilta Quick Release Top Handle adds flexible, stable handling and mounts directly to the cage using a secure thumbscrew. It includes:

• Two cold shoe mounts for mics or monitors

• 15mm rod port for EVFs or follow focus arms

• Multiple 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads for rig expansion

• Locating pin support for anti-twist accessories

This handle improves balance and camera control, especially for low-angle shots or handheld movement.

Side Power Handle with Run/Stop Functionality

Designed for professionals on the move, the Tilta Side Power Handle Type III features a slot for an NP-F570 battery, which can power your camera or connected accessories.
It also includes a run/stop cable that connects directly to compatible Canon DSLRs, allowing you to start/stop recording from the grip — a crucial feature for gimbal and shoulder rig users.
