15mm LWS Baseplate & Rod Support

The included 15mm Lightweight Support (LWS) Baseplate Type VI enables rod-based accessory mounting such as matte boxes, lens supports, and follow focus systems. Compatible with Tilta Standard Dovetail Plates, the baseplate also supports universal quick release plates via standard 1/4”-20 and 3/8”-16 threads.

Additionally, if you’re using the Blackmagic Battery Grip, the kit includes a battery grip extension bracket that allows continued rod support and system balance in half-cage configurations.

Integrated SSD Mounting & HDMI Protection

For external recording, the included SSD holder mounts to the cage and securely clamps onto an m.2 SSD (T7 or T5, depending on version). A USB-C screw lock ensures stable, reliable data transfer. The kit also includes a 90-degree HDMI adapter, protecting your HDMI port from strain or accidental damage.

Note: T7 drive holders are being phased out in favor of T5 versions—please check your kit contents before use.
