The Tilta Nucleus-Nano (WLC-T04) is an ultra-compact, single-axis wireless lens control system designed specifically for filmmakers using handheld gimbals, DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, and lightweight cine rigs. Whether you’re an independent creator, gimbal operator, or professional shooter, the Nucleus-Nano empowers you to wirelessly control your lens with precision while maintaining a compact setup.

Designed for Solo Gimbal Operators

Perfectly optimized for handheld gimbal systems such as the DJI Ronin-S, RS2, RS3, and Tilta Gravity G2X, the Nucleus-Nano makes single-operator focus control easy and intuitive. You can mount the Nano Hand Wheel directly onto the gimbal’s rosette for one-handed operation—focus pulling and gimbal control simultaneously.

Cross-Compatible with Nucleus-M

The Nano system is fully compatible with Nucleus-M components. You can control the Nano motor using the Nucleus-M hand unit or hand grips, and vice versa. This cross-compatibility allows flexible integration across your existing Tilta lens control ecosystem.

Nano Hand Wheel Controller

The Nano Hand Wheel features a compact, professional-grade knob similar in design to the Nucleus-M controller. It provides real-time, zero-delay response for accurate focus control, with support for:

• Manual or automatic lens calibration

• A-B focus limit settings

• Vibration feedback for focus marks

• OLED display for precise status monitoring

It is powered by a 14500 rechargeable lithium-ion battery (included) and offers up to 6 hours of continuous operation.

Power-Efficient, High-Torque Motor

The Nano Motor is a quiet, compact, high-torque drive unit with a built-in receiver — no separate MDR required. It features:

• Cine-standard 0.8 Mod gear

• Compatible with DSLR, mirrorless, and cine-style lenses

• Torque: 0.65N·m @ 5.5V, 1.0N·m @ 14.8V

• 5–18V input range via Micro USB

• Mounting via included 15mm rod clamp

Power the motor via:

• Gimbal tilt motor’s USB output (e.g., Gravity G2X)

• Optional P-Tap to Micro USB cable (sold separately)

Run/Stop Functionality

The system supports Run/Stop (R/S) control with select cameras when using official Tilta-developed R/S cables. This enables remote record start/stop directly from the hand controller for enhanced solo shooting workflows.

Important: Do not use third-party or wooden handle R/S cables with the Nucleus-Nano. Only use Tilta’s officially developed Nano R/S cables. Do not power the hand wheel via its USB port—this port is strictly for firmware updates.

Mounting Options

The system includes a 15mm rod mount adapter and a lens gear ring to make it compatible with most lenses and rigs. Whether you’re shooting with a basic mirrorless setup or a more professional handheld kit, the Nucleus-Nano is built to integrate seamlessly.
