Tiltaing Mini Matte Box
The Tiltaing Mini Matte Box is a compact and lightweight solution for filmmakers and content creators seeking effective light control and lens protection without the bulk of traditional matte boxes. Ideal for DSLR, mirrorless, and even some cine-style cameras, this matte box supports one standard 4 x 5.65” filter and mounts directly to your lens using included adapter rings or via a 15mm rod clamp.
Constructed with durable materials and weighing significantly less than full-size matte boxes, the Tiltaing Mini Matte Box is especially suited for gimbal, handheld, and lightweight camera rigs. Its interchangeable mounting system supports 67mm, 72mm, 77mm, and 82mm threaded lenses. Additional optional adapter rings (cine 80mm, 85mm) expand its compatibility for professional use.
The included carbon fiber top flag provides 180° coverage to block glare and light flares, helping maintain clean, contrast-rich images. A selection of 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads, as well as cold shoe mounts, allow the addition of small accessories like lights, mics, or monitors.
