Tilta Canon RF Mount to PL Mount Adapter with Adjustable Back Focus

The Tilta Canon RF Mount to PL Mount Adapter allows users to mount PL-mount lenses on camera bodies featuring Canon RF mounts. The included adjustment tool enables precise back-focus calibration to accommodate different sensors.

The adapter uses an ARRI Positive Lock design to provide a fast and secure connection for professional cinema lenses. It is compatible with the RED KOMODO, Canon EOS R5/R5 C and other RF-mount camera bodies.

Markings on the adjustment tool make it easier to change the back focus when using the adapter with different camera bodies. A 1/4″-20 thread on the bottom supports optional cage-specific adapter supports, creating an additional point of contact between the lens adapter and camera cage. This is especially useful with heavier lenses or wireless follow-focus motors.

A custom PL port cap is included.

Adjustable Back Focus

Align the adjustment tool’s two metal locating points with the lens adapter and rotate the tool to adjust the flange focal length.

The tool has a total rotating distance of 0.15 mm, divided into 30 grid units. Each grid unit represents 5 μm (0.005 mm).

• Rotate clockwise to reduce the flange focal distance.
• Rotate counterclockwise to increase the flange focal distance.

Additional Lens Support
