Bring your studio’s creative vision to life with the Mo-Sys e-Sensor, an encoded pan and tilt fluid head designed for virtual sets. Based on Cartoni fluid heads, it combines familiar camera handling with tracking for augmented reality graphics, broadcast production and visual effects.

With an encoder resolution of 4 million ticks per revolution, the e-Sensor captures finely detailed head movement. Its direct sensing design eliminates gears and mechanical play, delivering backlash-free encoding particularly suited to telephoto lens applications in sports broadcasting. A 25 kg payload capacity supports professional camera configurations, while the head weighs 6.5 kg.

Electronics—including those for lens encoding—are integrated inside the head. There is no need for additional electronics boxes or a mains power connection at the head, helping keep the camera setup tidy.

Accurate camera tracking is a foundation of convincing virtual production. As an operator changes the camera’s view, the digital scene must respond accordingly. Tracking data gives the graphics system the information needed to maintain the relationship between physical subjects and virtual elements.
