FREEFLY MOVI XL Battery
The Freefly Systems MōVI XL Battery is a high-capacity, intelligent Lithium Polymer (LiPo) battery specifically engineered to power the Freefly MōVI XL 3-Axis Gimbal Stabilizer. Given the MōVI XL’s ability to handle large camera payloads and demanding cinema workflows, its power source needs to be robust, reliable, and capable of delivering significant current. The MōVI XL typically operates using two of these battery packs connected in parallel to provide ample power and extended runtime.
These custom-designed LiPo batteries are the heart of the MōVI XL’s completely wireless operation, eliminating the need for cumbersome external power cables running to the gimbal or camera. They are designed not only to power the gimbal’s powerful motors but also to provide auxiliary power to the attached camera (via PTAP or other ports on the MōVI XL) and other accessories like wireless FIZ (Focus, Iris, Zoom) motors, video transmitters, and monitors.
