The Flowcine xMOUNT is a professional-grade hard mount solution designed specifically for Steadicam™ operators seeking maximum control, flexibility, and durability in demanding film production environments. Ideal for vehicle rigs, rickshaws, tracking dollies, or any setup using 48mm to 51mm tubes, the xMOUNT enables fast and precise roll and tilt angle adjustments—without disassembling your rig.

Unmatched Tilt and Roll Adjustability

The xMOUNT allows a wide ±22.5° tilt range, making it ideal for setups on angled surfaces or inclines. With its dual large tilt knobs, operators can easily dial in the perfect balance and sled angle, ensuring stability and preventing drift during shooting.

Integrated with Flowcine’s precision female xSOCKET block—crafted from titanium-plated stainless steel—the system supports up to ±16.5° of roll adjustment (depending on the male socket block used). This allows for fine roll alignment and seamless performance with all standard Steadicam-style stabilizer systems.

Reversible Setup and Universal Tube Compatibility

The xMOUNT can be quickly mounted on either the left or right side of a vehicle or rig. The locking clamps are easily reversible, providing flexible setup options for different operator preferences.

Included POM adapter rings ensure a perfect fit for Jackal rickshaws (48.3mm) and standard 50mm / 2” speed rails. These rings can be removed as needed for compatibility with other tube sizes, and additional step-down rings for 1-¼” and 1-½” tubes are in development.

Mitchell Mount Integration (Optional Kit)

The xMOUNT is also available with a Mitchell adapter kit, which includes a height-matched 50mm Mitchell adapter tube and a 2-¾” stainless steel Mitchell nut. This allows the xMOUNT to be seamlessly integrated into standard female Mitchell mounts, such as dollies, cranes, and vehicle rigs.

The compact, modular design ensures the xMOUNT and Mitchell adapter fit together tightly, offering a small yet powerful mounting solution with no compromise on stability or flexibility.
