The Flowcine xARM Winter Softshell Cover is a specialized, weather-resistant neoprene cover designed to keep your xARM Steadicam arm performing at peak efficiency in extreme cold temperatures, from 0°C (32°F) down to -20°C (-4°F). This innovative heated cover ensures that the internal spring cores remain at optimal temperature, delivering the same reliable lift capacity and performance as if operating indoors — even when filming in freezing conditions.
Ideal for cinematographers working in winter environments or high-altitude locations, this softshell cover is both waterproof and thermally insulated, making it a must-have accessory for serious Steadicam operators who refuse to compromise on performance regardless of weather conditions.
Built-in Dual Heating Zones with USB Power Connectivity
The xARM Winter Softshell Cover features two heating groups:

Passive heating group: Activates when the xARM is stored, keeping it warm and ready for use.

Active heating group: Powers up during operation, warming the arm as you shoot.
Powered via two USB-A connectors, the cover can be connected to any standard 5V USB power bank, with one port rated at 2A and the other at 1A. The smart temperature control system allows you to select from three heating levels depending on ambient temperature:

RED (High): Ideal for extreme cold, from -20°C to -10°C

WHITE (Medium): For cold but moderate temperatures, -10°C to 0°C
