The Flowcine xARM Arm Posts are a must-have upgrade for Steadicam operators looking to fine-tune their rig for optimal performance in both high and low shooting scenarios. These telescopic arm posts are designed exclusively for the Flowcine xARM and provide full compatibility with PRO and Tiffen-standard gimbals (0.74″ and 0.51″ diameters).

With two included post lengths—265mm (10.5″) and 165mm (6.5″)—operators can achieve versatile configurations for both high-mode and super-high mode operation, as well as improved ergonomics in various camera setups. Both posts are telescopic, giving you the flexibility to adjust the operating height with precision.

Whether you are shooting for cinema, TV, commercials, or live events, these arm posts ensure that your Steadicam system remains adaptable and fine-tuned to your movement, location, and subject.

Telescopic Design for Flexible Camera Height Control

Unlike fixed-length posts, the xARM telescopic posts allow smooth, customizable adjustments thanks to dual grip collars—one at the top and one at the bottom. This prevents slippage during operation and ensures the arm post remains locked securely in place, even during intense motion.

By using the longer post (265mm) or the shorter post (165mm) and adjusting the telescoping sections, operators can gain up to:

• +203mm (8”) above standard height with the 265mm arm post

• +103mm (4”) above standard height with the 165mm arm post

This added clearance makes it ideal for shooting above obstacles, tracking tall subjects, or achieving a more balanced sled orientation during Steadicam operations.
