Total Configuration Flexibility: High, Super-High, and Low Modes

The xARM High/Low Mode Kit allows you to reconfigure your Steadicam for any operating height:

• Super-High Mode: Extend your camera’s vertical reach using the Super-High/Low Mode Link Bracket and the 265mm telescopic arm post. Gain up to 315mm / 12.4” of added height above standard setup, ideal for elevated or overhead shots.

• High Mode: Use the 165mm telescopic arm post for increased clearance while maintaining balance and operator comfort.

• Low Mode: Achieve ultra-low shots close to the ground with the help of the Low Mode Grip Handle, giving you better control and safer, more ergonomic hand placement during operation.

This modular configuration delivers maximum control and stability, no matter the shooting scenario.

Professional Ergonomics in Low Mode

The included Low Mode Grip Handle improves operator efficiency by offering an ergonomic handhold during low-angle shots. Instead of grasping the gimbal directly, you gain a dedicated control point that is outfitted with:

• 24 x 3/8″-16 UNC threads (18 with anti-twist ARRI accessory mounts)

• 20 x 1/4″-20 UNC threads

• Attach monitors, focus/zoom rockers, articulating arms, or other accessories directly to the grip

Compatible with not only the xARM, but also PRO’s 0.625″ and Tiffen’s 0.74″ and 0.51″ arm posts, the grip handle is an essential for any low-mode professional.

Precision-Engineered Telescopic Arm Posts

The kit includes two telescopic arm posts (265mm and 165mm) that allow for fine-tuned sled height adjustment. These posts are secured using dual locking post grips that prevent movement or slippage, even during intense motion.

• Provides up to 203mm (8″) or 103mm (4″) of lift above standard post height

• M4 locking screws ensure rock-solid grip (Allen key included with xARM)

Super-High/Low Mode Link Bracket – Innovative Arm Extension

The Link Bracket allows Steadicam operators to link two arm posts together for extreme vertical movement. It enables a lower gimbal connection in low mode (up to 215mm / 8.45″ below standard) and a higher sled connection in high mode (up to 315mm / 12.4″ above standard), giving you unmatched rigging versatility.
