Flowcine Front Extension Block – Extend Your Black Arm for Larger Gimbals
The Flowcine Front Extension Block is a vital accessory designed to increase the reach of your Flowcine Black Arm, enabling seamless integration with larger frame gimbals. Available in three precise lengths — 100mm, 180mm, and 300mm — this extension block lets you customize the arm length for optimal balance and camera positioning, adapting your rig for demanding professional setups.
Common use cases for the different extension lengths include:

100mm Block: Ideal for the DJI Ronin 2, providing just enough extra arm length to handle the rig’s size without compromising control.

180mm Block: Perfectly suited for the Shotover G1, accommodating its larger frame with added leverage.

The extended arm length provides increased leverage, which impacts the maximum load capacity of the Black Arm. Important Safety Note:
The Front Extension Block must always be used in conjunction with the External Rubber Stoppers, which limit the Black Arm’s movement within safe angles and prevent the arm from hitting its mechanical end points. These stoppers are crucial because the added leverage from the extension can increase the risk of the arm reaching unsafe positions during operation. Most current Black Arm kits include these rubber stoppers, but if you own an older unit, be sure to order them separately for optimal safety.
