Basic overview of 301 “DigiLite” Remote Head
Oneman Crane control DigiLite
Comfortable Adjustable Fluid Pistol Grip controls give positive and precise control of the Pan, Tilt, Zoom and Focus.
We offer you a choice to operate the 301-306 head from the back of the Arm. Between the controls for Pan, Tilt, Zoom and Focus you will find the Electronic Control Unit of the head, from which the operator can easily control and adjust, all of the functions of the head.
The minimum setup of a DigiLite system consists of a control system (e.g. single control panel, multi control panel), and a remote system (e.g. remote head, dolly, etc.)
The two devices are connected via an ethernet cable. By default Egripment delivers all Digilite systems with a fixed unique IP address. If you connect all devices to their own private network, they will work out of the box without further configuration.
You must pair two devices to control a remote system. You can pair devices using the pair button or the multi controller GUI. After pairing, the control system can control the remote system.
More complex systems can by achieved by using a multi controller. One multi controller can control multiple remote systems. However, only one multi controller can exist per network. In contrast to this, multiple single controllers are allowed in a network.
To avoid IP conflicts, you must carefully connect an existing network to a Digilite system.Ensure every device has a unique IP address, or enable DHCP. See the chapter: Changing the IP address of a Digilite system for more information. Egripment can help by preconfiguring devices before delivery of the systems.
