CAN Stick by Betz-Tools
The CAN Stick by Betz-Tools is a highly compact and versatile remote control unit, functioning as a key part of Betz-Tools’ sophisticated CAN (Controller Area Network) ecosystem. It’s primarily designed for precise control of various camera functions, especially zoom, and can also be adapted for Pan/Tilt/Roll axis control on stabilized gimbals and remote heads.
The CAN Stick by Betz-Tools is a super compact and highly precise remote control unit designed for professional camera operators. As a core component of Betz-Tools’ advanced CAN Toolset, it offers wired or wireless operation for controlling various camera and gimbal functions. Its primary application is as a precise zoom control unit for HD/ENG lenses and external digital lens motors from brands like BTM/CAN, Heden, Preston, and Scorpio. Beyond zoom, the CAN Stick can also be used for Pan/Tilt/Roll axis control on stabilized gimbals such as Maxima SMX30/MX30, DJI Ronin, MoVI, or other remote heads.
The CAN Stick is engineered for quick and easy setups with convenient config switches, eliminating the need for time-consuming menu navigation. When combined with the Schnitte HF receiver, it transforms into a supremely compact wireless control unit, supporting multiple frequencies (400MHz, 800MHz, 900MHz, 2.4GHz) for reliable performance. It’s designed to be mounted on rods ranging from 15mm to 32mm using a new Betz-Tools clamp, or it can be used as a standalone/handheld device. Encased in a lightweight and rigid aluminum housing, the Betz-Tools CAN Stick is a durable and indispensable tool for achieving precise and fluid camera control in dynamic shooting environments, especially beneficial for Steadicam, PRO System, and MK-V setups.
