Description

The Transvideo StarliteRF-a is a highly capable 5-inch OLED touchscreen monitor-recorder with an integrated wireless video receiver. The “RF-a” designation specifically highlights its ability to remotely control ARRI ALEXA Mini and AMIRA cameras when paired with a compatible Transvideo TitanHD2 Tx-a transmitter connected to the camera’s EXT socket.

Unlike the “Starlite ARRI-WVS” which only receives from ARRI’s proprietary WVS transmitters (like those built into the SXT W or LF, or the WVT-1), the StarliteRF-a operates on the 5.8GHz ISM band and is designed to work with Transvideo’s own TitanHD2 transmitters. This distinction means the StarliteRF-a offers camera control, which the Starlite ARRI-WVS does not.

When considering the “monitor only” aspect, you’re focusing on its capabilities as a standalone display and recorder, with the wireless receiver built-in, but without the additional transmitters or deluxe kit accessories.
