Protective Armor with Expandability

The full cage securely surrounds your a7S III body, protecting it from impacts, stress, and long-term wear. It includes multiple 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads, two cold shoe mounts, and an Arri-compatible rosette for attaching optional handles, arms, or accessories. The integrated 15mm rod mount adds further expandability for lens supports or matte boxes.

Precision Gimbal Compatibility

The cage features multiple base mounting points to help balance your rig when mounted to gimbals. The included Arca and Manfrotto quick release plates allow you to switch between tripod, gimbal, and handheld setups with ease.

Top Handle & Side Handle for Enhanced Control

Quick Release Top Handle

This lightweight and secure handle offers flexible top mounting, allowing you to shoot low-angle or stabilize the rig better. Includes two shoe mounts and multiple thread points for mounting additional gear like monitors or lights.

Left Side Advanced Power Handle

The ergonomic side handle houses a NP-F570 battery slot to power your camera or accessories and includes a Run/Stop button. It connects via the included 7-pin to micro-USB cable, giving you start/stop control over Sony Alpha series cameras (a6/a7/a9).

Rod Support and Accessory Mounting

15mm LWS Baseplate + Rods

The 15mm LWS Baseplate Type II enables rod-mounted accessories like follow focus units, matte boxes, or lens supports. Two 200mm aluminum rods are included, giving you the flexibility to build out your rig.

Streamlined HDMI Workflow

An included HDMI Male to Female Cable connects securely through the cage, while the HDMI clamp minimizes cable stress and accidental disconnects during takes—ideal for connecting to external recorders and monitors.
