The Tilta Full Camera Cage is custom-designed for the Sony a6 Series (a6000–a6500), offering a snug fit without blocking access to ports, dials, the flip screen, or battery door. Constructed from durable aluminum alloy and stainless steel, this lightweight cage adds strong protection while preserving the camera’s form factor.

A variety of 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threaded mounting points line the cage, allowing users to attach monitors, microphones, lights, articulating arms, and more. Integrated cold shoe mounts offer even more expandability.

Top Handle for Better Handling and Low-Angle Shots

The included Tilta Quick Release Top Handle improves handheld operation, especially for low-angle shooting. Its ergonomic design adds both stability and convenience, and its advanced mounting options include:

• Two cold shoe mounts for attaching lights, mics, or wireless receivers

• 15mm rod port for optional EVF or follow focus system

• Multiple 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads for rigging flexibility

• Secure spring-loaded thumbscrew attachment

The top handle also features a 3/8″-16 mount with locating pins, making it compatible with a wide range of Tilta accessories.
