The SmartSystem Matrix Sled R2 Lite “Ronity” is a purpose-built camera stabilization solution designed for seamless integration with the DJI Ronin™2. Engineered for uncompromised precision and convenience, this professional sled features a 40mm carbon fiber telescopic post, a custom Ronin™2 plate adapter, and integrated Horizon monitor stabilization—offering filmmakers a refined, cable-free alternative to traditional setups.
Full Compatibility with DJI Ronin™2
Forget the complexity of external umbilical cables. The Matrix R2 Lite sled is designed specifically to support the Ronin™2 gimbal system, allowing the Ronin’s native power source to be used directly. The Ronin™2 battery can be mounted like a standard battery, offering complete movement and tilt adjustability—achieving an ideal center of gravity for every rig configuration.
Horizon Monitor Stabilization System Included
Included in the bundle is the SmartCAM Horizon monitor stabilization system, powered by brushless motors. This tool-free monitor support ensures that your display stays perfectly balanced even in dynamic high- and low-mode transitions. This is especially valuable for operators working in demanding fast-paced environments who need uninterrupted, steady monitor visibility.
Advanced Battery and Balancing System
A key feature of the Matrix Sled R2 Lite is its fully adjustable Ronin™2 battery holder, mounted on carbon fiber rods. This holder allows +90° to -90° tilting and fore-aft movement, granting the operator greater flexibility in balancing complex camera builds.
Additionally, the sled includes a V-Lock or 3-Stud battery plate that can be installed in the lower position for ultra-precise counterbalance—ideal for achieving neutral float across a wide range of setups.
Modular Top Stage for Precision and Versatility
The Matrix Sled R2 Lite is equipped with a micrometric and vibration-free top stage, which can also be repositioned to the bottom of the sled to enable lower center-of-gravity setups. This dual-stage flexibility is essential when fine-tuning your rig for either high or low mode operation.
